We are the CDM PTA

The heartbeat of the School with a Heart

At Carmel Del Mar, we believe that when families and schools work together, amazing things happen for our kids. The Carmel Del Mar PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a parent-powered organization that exists to uplift, enrich, and support every child’s experience at CDM. From joyful community events to classroom grants and school-wide improvements, the PTA helps create the kind of environment where students can thrive — not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.

We are entirely run by parent volunteers like you. Whether it's organizing assemblies, funding classroom supplies, decorating the campus, purchasing the school mascot, showering the staff with gratitude or simply showing up with a smile, every act of participation makes a difference.

Our Vision for CDM

School should feel like a second home... a place where every child is celebrated, every parent is welcomed, and learning feels like an adventure.

Our mission is to weave magic, belonging, and inspired learning into the heart of the CDM community thereby turning everyday moments into joyful memories and transforming the school experience into something unforgettable.

WE IMAGINE A SCHOOL WHERE:

  • Students light up with wonder, discovering, exploring, and creating in ways that stay with them

  • Families feel connected and valued, knowing their presence shapes the culture and energy of the school

  • Teachers and staff feel deeply appreciated, supported with the resources, time, and gratitude they deserve

  • Traditions and surprises fill the year, reminding us all that childhood is sacred, fleeting, and worth celebrating
