Easy Ways to Give — without spending an extra dime!

At Carmel Del Mar, our only major fundraiser of the year is our Read-a-Thon. Every October, Dragons read their hearts out while collecting pledge money from friends, family, and neighbors to support our PTA’s annual programs. We ask that each student aim to raise at least $100, and we are so grateful for your participation.

But did you know there are simple, everyday ways to support our school year-round without writing a check or selling anything?

​

These are called Passive Fundraisers and they make a big impact.

Tuesday, August 26th

Restaurant Nights are an easy (and delicious!) way to support CDM! A few times a year, we partner with local restaurants who generously donate a percentage of sales back to our school. All you have to do is dine in, take out, or order delivery on the event night and mention CDM when you order! It’s a fun way to treat your family while giving back to our amazing students — no extra cost to you.

Ralphs Community Contribution Program

Shop like usual. Swipe your card. Ralphs donates — it’s that easy.

Once you link your Ralphs Shopper’s Card to Carmel Del Mar School, Ralphs automatically donates a portion of every eligible purchase to our PTA.

  1. Go to ralphs.com

  2. Sign in or create an account

  3. Search Carmel Del Mar School or use our ID: ND998

Education

Shop like usual. Scan your receipt. Box Tops donates — it’s that easy.

Once you download the Box Tops app and select Carmel Del Mar School, just scan your grocery receipts and a portion of your purchase will be donated back to our PTA.

  2. Account -> Manage Schools -> Add: CARMEL DEL MAR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, San Diego, CA
